About Us

Georgia is the owner and primary teacher at Georgia Joice Music & Tech. A lifelong lover of music and natural-born teacher, she began teaching piano lessons in 2007. Her formal, classical training in piano began at the age of 5, and continued into college. As an adult, she’s furthered her skills in ukulele & guitar.  Her singing career includes local chorales, singing at corporate and private events, minor league baseball games, and being the lead singer in a rock band!

For technology & business, she holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, is a certified NASA-led Engineering & Robotics Learned Young Coach & School (E.A.R.L.Y.) and has coached robotics and held highly sought-after summer camps since 2012. Georgia is also a business & IT coach with an emphasis in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-I 2.0 & 360 certified). She has also enjoyed coaching First Lego League teams. Some of the awards & honors her teams have received are:

  • EARLY Spirit Award: Fall 2011 & Spring 2012 – Cypress Lightning Bots
  • EARLY Ambassador Award: Fall 2013 – Cypress Lightning Bots
  • First Lego League South Texas Championship “Rising Star”: 2013 – 2014 – Ninjaneers
  • First Lego League South Texas Championship “2nd Place Project Award”2015-2016 Ninjaneers

Personally, being a wife, mom, & homeschool teacher, has enabled her to have insight to handling different learning styles & personalities. Her teaching philosophy centers around being a “nice sergeant”, while having fun and allowing the student the flexibility to customize their learning path to their needs and desires. In every lesson, whether it is ukulele, piano, singing in lessons or in Spring Singers, setting & meeting personal goals are always fun!

Finding the right teacher for yourself and/or your child is one of the most important steps in a successful educational journey!
