Spring Singers Homeschool Choir

MISSION: Spring Singers celebrates seniors and special needs communities with the gift of music sung by our teen and children choirs. Everyone is valuable and deserves joy and choir strives to deliver that to all of our rehearsals and performances.

WHY JOIN:
  • Learn music theory & singing techniques from a veteran music teacher & performer
  • Develop lifelong friendships
  • Have fun at monthly social outings & park days*
  • Gain confidence in performing
  • Expand leadership skills on our Teen Choir Committee*
  • Volunteer opportunities*
  • Connect with other inclusive homeschooling parents
*Due to Covid-19, these activities are temporarily on hold.

OUR MUSIC:  Our eclectic song list includes only "clean" songs from artists such as The Jackson Five, The Who, Shirley Temple, and Toto, just to name a few. Spring Singers sings with movement and expression, not stuffy suits or formal dresses.

OUR DIRECTOR: Georgia has a heart and kindness for all young people. She grew up singing in choirs while taking private piano lessons since aged 5 and in college and now sings professionally. She has participated in local chorales as an adult, taught piano, voice, & now ukulele, for over 13 years and is musical director for community youth theater productions.
