Spring Singers Choir

MISSION: Spring Singers celebrates the elderly and special needs communities with the gift of beautiful music sung by our teen & children singers. Everyone is valuable and deserves joy and our choir strives to deliver that to all of our rehearsals and performances.

WHY JOIN?: Choir members are taught music theory & singing techniques at every rehearsal using visual and auditory aids. Besides education, being a member of Spring Singers is being in a group of welcoming, creative friends who have monthly socials, a teen choir committee, and family fun park days. As a parent, you will be given access to recommended music theory apps, sheet music, our choir calendar, and other parents via our Facebook Member Group.

MUSIC:  Our progressive song list includes only "clean" songs from groups such as The Jackson Five, The Who, Shirley Temple, and Toto, just to name a few. Spring Singers sings with movement and expression, not stuffy suits or formal dresses. Our rehearsals include music theory, ear-training exercises, and vocal techniques.

OUR DIRECTOR: Georgia has a heart and kindness for all young people. She grew up singing in choirs while taking private piano lessons since aged 5 and in college and now sings professionally. She has participated in local chorales as an adult, taught piano and voice for over 13 years and is musical director for community youth theater productions.
